I'm setting up a date in a couple weeks involving an awesome 5 star dinner, followed by a movie in my home theater room. (I have a good home theater room, so it won't feel like an anitclimax). However, I'm just really not sure what a good movie to watch is. The girl I'm taking on this date isn't much of a fan of chick flicks, so that eliminates a great deal of my ideas  . Anyone have any suggestions for a good movie to watch on a date? Or just a good movie in general?

This is an interesting question.  If she doesn't like the casual romantic comedy, which is great for hitting first base. Then maybe an adventure film... Is she a sci-fi fan ? Some films are timeless. The 5th Element, ET, Close Encounters of The Third Kind and Blade Runner....  These are all nice sci-fi flicks that can get one emotional..

Comedy can be a nice ice breaker.. Ben Still has one called, The Apartment... Also Meet The Parents is good too..  Horror is always good for a snggle :-)

If it is a date with someone you love, I really don't think you will be able to finish the movie.  I would suggest you choose the classic ones, or better yet prepare a variation of movies like comedy and romantic ones. Aside from the movie,  your date will appreciate if you will also prepare a simple yet romantic snack. Patio Furniture
